A Taxi driver dies in embankment crash in Walsall

A taxi driver has been killed in a crash in Walsall.

The 37-year-old man’s Toyota Avensis went down an embankment at Wednesbury Road, near the junction with Bescot Crescent, West Midlands Police said.

Emergency services were called out at about 04:45 BST on Wednesday. No other vehicles were involved,

Anyone who saw what happened or who feels they may be able to help police should call the regional collision investigation unit on 101.
